She pays only 20 dollars for trip fee. Not enough with todays gas prices. What about your time?
She doesnt care about your time, 20 dollars for a no sign, no way~

I did a signing for her back in April, she had no problem meeting my fee, so I accepted the job. I was on the road when she called, when I got home I read all the reviews (mixed, mostly negative). I called her back to talk to her about payment issues that were posted here, she acted shocked and said it could be a disgruntled notary. I informed her there was was more then one complaint in regards to payment history. I was hesitant about taking the signing, however, she sent me a new confirmation stating I would be paid within 30 days, I received payment within 3 weeks.

First of all we don't pay a $20.00 trip fee, haven't for awhile. That's when we were new and still trying to figure out what was fair. Second we always pay our notaries within a few weeks to 30 days. There has been a few errors on our part and that happens from time to time, no one is perfect. Unfortunatly one of those times the notary got mad and wrote about it on this site. I wish she would have not done that because it was only a miscommunication and we did take care of it. Thank you Brenda for setting the record straight and bringing my attention to this site where people share their views and now where I will come and share mine. AMS Notary has a very good reputation and we appreciate all the hard work notaries do.

Re: AMS NOTARY-Yes I will confirm I did one signing for them

and then called a second time for same signing, borrowers wanted different terms. Paid timely, at 30 days......and full fee for both signings. Pleasant on the phone and easy to work with.

Re: AMS NOTARY-Yes I will confirm I did one signing for them

Thank you, I don't know who you are but thanks for the kind words. We try very hard to pay timely and work with our notaries on anything they may need help with. It is very different when you are at our end of things and to come here and see people speaking badly of you, it's very hurtful. We have had many notaries do very wrong things during their signings for us and we would not dream of publicly bad talking them. There is always 2 sides to a story. Not all signing services are bad, please don't bad mouth companies unless they really diserve it. Sorry about my spelling, it's terrible. If anyone has any questions about our services you are welcome to call us or visit our web site at amsnotary.com. Thank You for your time and we wish you good signings always. Smile

Re: AMS NOTARY-Well Thanks I made that much of an impression

huh? No, just kidding.... I live in remote area one could say so you may not have a lot of signings in my area. The borrowers were within a few miles of my home.....

Re: AMS NOTARY-Well Thanks I made that much of an impression

One time I refused a signing from her because I was told in the confirmation letter that
if borrower doesnt show or doesnt sign the documents I will be getting only 20.00 dollars
I told her that wasnt acceptable for me, so I cancelled the signing. I am glad that she
stopped that 20.00 dollar fee. She sounds very nice in the phone though.
