I live in Nevada and plan on turning them in the Consumer Affairs. I already have the forms. I also called all the title companies but they have let him go a few weeks ago. I am also thinking about a collection agency even though I wouldn't see the money but it would go on his credit rating.
Lesson learned.....

Chris, please call Det. Edwards in the fraud division, he is working with the Nv notaries to help us. the more information he has the better. 229-3285 the US State Attorney Generals Office also said to call the Irs criminal investigation 702 380-6936 and the FBI 702-385-1281. They alrady have an FBI file. So far we are the fifth state of notaries to be taken. Thanks

They have lost at least 2 lawsuits that I am aware of. They don't even bother to defend them selfs by coming to court. Both I am SoCal Notary sued them. We won in Los Angeles, samll claims court. Be as it may and the real bottom line for you... You got ripped off and are not going to get paid willingly by them unless you sue and go though the same collection crap SoCal and I are going though. And then, maybe.

Hi David, I have recently done over a $1000 worth of work for Brian at Acme and he will not pay me either. I would appreciate any information on him and help that anyone has to offer me. I do have his new phone number if anyone would like to try and contact him. He is living in Las Vegas now and I am the third notary who is complained about him to the title companies we have been working with. They both say that they have fired him already due to the complaints of non payment issues. His new #702-870-2196 everyone he owes money to should call him

Anonymouns.....wow! I'm impressed. You have provided us with the most recent information on ACME in a long time! I did not know where they were, their phone #'s in CA were disconnected. They owe me approx. $500.00 and was so sick to hear that they are out there getting new business and new notaries and ripping them off! They have to be stopped!! Silly me...... I am the latest victim of ACME. I should have checked first. I will contact the title companies that use him and let them know the nonpayment. I live in Northern NV and also will follow up with some government offices here. Nevada is a very small state.
I am very disappointed right now but I will take it as a learned lesson.

I am also part of this group of scammed on notaries! I have a recent judgment in Calif. against them. If you need info, you can email me with your phone # and I can give you all the info I have on them such as address where they can be located and how to serve them. There is a detetive in CA an NV (#as posted by Chrity P for Las Vegas) taking any information you can add to their case. California notaries should call Detective Robert Spira @ the Riverside DA's office.

In addition, if you did not receive a 1099 for 2005, you should print the attached form from the IRS link below and file a complaint as the are probable not paying their taxes!
