BEWARE - LOAN CLOSERS.COM - THEIVES
Do NOT accept orders from these people. I accepted a closing, far away from me, but for a good price, because I guess the people were desperate to get this done. They called me a week later and said that the borrowers didn't sign with their middle initial throughout the package, and they were not getting paid for the deal, so ipso fatso, I wasn't either. They said that another attorney went out and had to resign everything.
WELL, the registry of deeds recorded the mortgage, and I WAS THE NOTARY who signed it. I called the borrower who said that no new attorney came out, she just had to resign some stuff that was faxed to her. I was flat out lied to.
I plan on suing them, but in the meanwhile, DO NOT ACCEPT ORDERS FROM THEM, they are in SOX's league. Look at earlier feed back on these boards concerning them, there is nothing good. They are flat out theives!

Have you called Loan Closers.com to inform them that you indeed found they lied to you. I would without hesitation.

Just a suggestion....check the docs throughly before leaving the borrowers' home.
I have always checked the docs at home, before shipping them out. However a few years back, I had found mistakes on a couple of signings and had to go back to the borrowers and get them fixed. Both times the borrowers lived a long distance from my home, and the time and gas from going back meant I wasn't making any money.
So I started checking the docs twice before leaving the borrowers' home. It does not matter if the borrowers are in a rush or if I might be late to another appointment (I always call borrowers and let them know I'm running late), I always check the docs twice. Most borrowers are surprised that I find all the spots where they've missed a signature, initial, or date. Quite frankly, it saves time in the long run to double check before leaving the borrowers' home.
I still check the docs one last time, at home, before sending them out. But I always check the docs twice at the borrowers. As far as all the TC and SS's are concerned, I never make any mistakes, because they always receive docs that are complete and error free.

Words to work by, Tina
I perform the same QC check X2 before leaving the brw's and also again prior to shipping. Saves time, money and aggravation for everyone, including me. But, the original poster is correct about loanclosers.com, they tried to keep my money, too. I think I finally got it after 5-6 months of annying the dickens out of them, via me and the TC.

Re: Words to work by, Tina
I always always double check. If I find something the second time I go through a third time. The borrower normally like this because they know that you care about your work.
