Carlos @ Superior Signings is alive and well...
I just got off the phone with him and he assured me that he is still in business, but has been busy with other ventures. I let him know that his girls were concerned and worried about him and he said he appreciated the fact that we were thinking of him.
Superior is set up on an auto pay accounting system so Carlos never writes, signs or issues checks. He said he will get with the administrators of the system and the bank to find out what is going on.
P.S. I don't feel it's my place to publish the number I used to contact him so, please don't ask.

Excellent news!
I am sure all will be paid as agreed, and I am happy he is well and doing well. Well done, Becca!

Re: Excellent news! - Now the truth about Carlos...
His telephone voice is second only to Morgan Freeman's on-screen voice...I have watched the Shawshank Redemption around 15 times since it came out. It is one of my very top favorites.

Brenda, I couldn't agree more...
and Shawshank is an automatic stop while surfing on lazy weekends. Yep, the surfing stops for me when I find Shawshank or Fried Green Tomatoes.
Oh, BTW, I even got a few "sweetharts" out of him. Just made my day!

Well, when you talked to him did you ask him why he doesn't return phone calls from notaries who have not been paid? Or why he hasn't been sending invoices to title companies?

Yes, I did and I posted why. He has set the SS up to automatically run (pretty much anyway) and has his hands full with other ventures right now. He will look into the problem, I'm sure.

Sounds like he needs to clean house and hire a few new people that truly do allow him to step away from the business. A company is only as good as the people who run it.
