Is this a file attachment to an email or is there a link in the body of the email that you click on that opens a website?

I'd wager that your printer doesn't have the PCL driver needed to download the docs.

What viewer do they require you to use? I recently had an issue with the eds viewer. It was a simple upgrade to the latest version.

If she doesn't have a PCL 6 capable printer will anything work?

PCL 6 not required
Most packages do NOT require PCL 6. Not even PCL 5e, though this is the minimum recommended level anyone should be using. Generally, doc sets are compliant with PCL4 because the software is PCL4 compliant. There isn't much need for requiring 5e or 6 with text documents, so they would print with a PCL4 compliant printer.

Re: PCL 6 not required
Does this mean one can use HP's PCL4 printers? I see an abundance of those used printers selling at low prices in computer repair shops but I didn't think those were capable for our printing. I could use a 3rd printer for backup. Hmmmm....now I'm wondering if those printers are capable with Windows XP. Does anyone know??

My slip. Should have just said PCL. Was asking for Calinotaries opinion on whether they would be able to find a way around if they didn't have a pcl compatible printer.
PCL is Printer Command Language. 4, 5, 6 are upgrades.

I think that if you don't have a PCL printer, you're just screwed if the program requires it. Not all doc viewers use it, but many of them do.
Anyone who is even thinking about doing edocs needs to make sure they have a printer that has PCL. If money is an issue, some low end ones can be gotten for a little over $100. Get a cheapie to start and upgrade later. Otherwise you run the risk of not only losing the signing you can't print docs for, but the company never calling you back for another signing because they don't want to have to wonder if it'll happen the next time.
The right printer will pay for itself in no time flat.

That's what I thought. SOL if not PCL. Hey is that poetic or something? LOL Thanks Cali.

Contact the SS and let them know. They will let you know how to get it working, usually.
Good luck!

I you will give enough information to tell the folks here more about your assignment you'll get plenty of assistance. Right now you have not revealed what site, what program, what printer, etc.
We're good, but not that good. Well, maybe PAW is, but I'm not a very good mind reader.
