The good news is that I don't have to have the foot amputated.
I am off the crutches and the limp is getting less and less everyday. I am still wearing the little bootie for a few more weeks. The worst part is getting the socks on and off everyday and trying to take a shower without my little support bootie.
It's fun to go shopping because now I have a letigimate (sp) reason for driving around on the little shopping scooters at the store and getting myself into trouble. I am a bad driver and crash into stuff all the time... lol. I went to Target with a friend of mine last night and when she wasn't looking, I took every copy of the Brokeback Mountain DVD off the shelf and put them into her shopping cart and drove away really quick. The look on her face when she saw what was in her cart was priceless.
I am all out of the pain meds, so I guess I am back to thinking normally (well ok, not normally, but like I did before the pain meds).
