IReP unsigned checks revisited; number to complain

my sister is one who received one of the unsigned checks for over $1,000. Her rent was due and she was counting on that money. IReP told her she could fedex AT HER EXPENSE the check and enclose a return prepaid fedex for the return. This is unacceptable.

Household needs to know about this. They are always in trouble, they don't need more Smile

Here is a number, that MAY or MAY not be helpful.

866.825.2907 extension 48923

Mary Jones

I get little or no business from IREP and you are correct, Julie.

This is unacceptable.

They called me this am and said their bank is aware of the unsigned checks and will honor them. Will have to wait and see

No the bank will not honor them. My sister went to National City Bank where their checks are drawn from and THEY tried to help my sister for over an hour and they couldn't do anything.

For all of you "organizational notary types" make the call, even if it's only a $70 check!

As I said before...personally they should be reported not only to the BBB, Notary's Beware but also to their state attorney's as well. Just my feelings. If they don't get the complaints or be reported, they will keep doing this over n ' over. It needs to STOP NOW!!!

Re: Have they done this before?

February 15, 2006 checks were supposedly lost in the mail (conveniently) and we didn't get for 6 weeks. Try explaining that to you creditors. IREP was just as sympathetic then as they are now!

IREP is part of NREIS and we know what that is about. Golf courses being built, etc.
