I just purchased a HP 4000 on ebay..

I know that we all consider printers disposable, I just purchased a HP 4000 for $185.00 this includes shipping. I was looking for another 4200, but I can't afford one at this moment. For your printer needs try ebay first and then to the classifieds.

I might be crazy...

but I seriously LOVE my printer. I talk sweet... I try not to yank the pages out before he is done printing on them... I don't give him too many instructions at one time...

I have a new ultramodern superprinter that I bought six month ago with all the gizmos and gadgets but it is still in the box because my old one just keeps on printing ... and printing... and printing!

You're not crazy..I love my Laserjet 4.

I have a laserjet 4 that I have for a back-up beyond back-ups and I love it. It is a workhorse and gets the job done.

Ha! I snagged a 4000DT for $75 at an estate auction 2 years ago. I was going to sell it except I ran a set of docs on it. Slow but it had potential! So I bought some memory for it for cheap from the chip merchant.com and that got it cooking.

And for the last 2 years my then 6 month old now 2 year 6 month old $1000 HP is my backup printer.
