Invoice amounts

Has any notary ever given the SS or TC an invoice that says my fee is for example: $65.00 if paid before 30 days, $75.00 if paid after 30 days? Or ,I know we'd all like to be paid in 2-3 weeks or less,so maybe make the discount point cut off at 3 weeks? any thoughts on this? Maybe if we did this we'd get paid faster.

Yes! I've actually invoiced like this but I only added a minimal 5% late fee. It computes to a couple dollars. I thought it might get someone's attention. Of course I've never been paid the additional $, just the nego fee. I no longer add a late fee because I know it's useless. So far I've only been stiffed by Beacon Rock, but who hasn't?? If they pay you, more power to you!

I will add a late fee if payment is 30+ days out.
