Is anyone owed money by The Closing Team?

I am at $1300.00.

They used to be one of my favorites. I heard they blamed their 'downfall' on a notary and that's why they felt justified in not paying what they owed. (Apparrently a notary was owed money and called the Title Company - the Title Company put them on probation until they paid their people... they obviously didn't do that).

Angelina, there was something on the board last month or so about uncovered checks? I know a notary who used to do work on weekly if not daily basis for them, but the last few months they just dropped off radar. Hope you get paid, check BBB listing to see if there's any complaints against them. I think the bad check issue I read in March was resolved, but it may be they're just trying to catch up? Good luck!

They bounced a check to me...

and when the check came back, I called their bank everyday to see if it would clear. When they finally said it would, I ran down and cashed it. I'm considering myself lucky that it was only one signing!

Do you mean to tell me that they are not paying you because they lost an account??? That's how their justifying it?? What a crock of crap! So, that means that their future business with this one client was funding their past accounts payable. Super Scary, but I suspect that's how most signing services run their businesses.

I wonder if they just dumped their old notaries that they owed and are 'catching up' on the backs of new people that they haven't used yet????
