Jurats
Since so many pre-printed jurats have incorrect notarial wording is it ok to use the Jurat stamp (the one you can purchase on this site) and place it directly on the item that needs a jurat?
I was told by the NNA that this was acceptable. You can also attache a separate Jurat but as long as you use the stamp and cross out the incorrect wording (and initial) they said this would be fine.
Has anyone had any experience with this?

Re: Jurats - Dawn - always check
with you own state's SoS.
The only time I have ever sought information from the NNA it was incorrect. Many here report the same thing.

Re: Jurats - Dawn - What state are you in?
It says AK (Alaska).
Sos in Tx is who issues commissions.
Whichever office gave you a commission is where you need to get your answers - not the NNA - they are no different than any other organization who sells notary items to make money...including memberships.
