Nations Direct
How are they staying in business. They keep calling and offering $60.00 for edocs. Who are taking these assignments? I guess I could have said yes and said the $60.00 fee is just one copy the borrower's copy would have to be sent by the lender. That would cover my printing of docs and the travel time was only 6 miles.

Nation's Direct pays the lowest of any signing service out there and they are also high maintainence. They call you for to check on everything and still want you to fax back.

They stay in business by having other notaries accept those low ball fees. They called me this past Monday for a 1st and 2nd e-docs at $60.00. I said no and I gave them my fee. I got the usual "I have to get it approved" crap and of course they didn' t call back. I wasn't expecting them to call back but someone took it.

They often have different callers call me on the same signing. I say hey, I just turned down Bill on that 5 minutes ago and now Sarah is calling me on it. Not to mention I have turned them down over and over and over and they still keep calling me.

I just wonder if they can get it done this cheaply why aren't they doing them in Texas? Never heard from ND yet...why aren't they getting all the TC and Lender bus here?
I'd like to know their stinky business model...are they the Priceline.com for notary work? Is it a lowball gamble proposision? If the job is not taken at that lowball price, then do they reschedule, start over and the job gets handled through a good company? Interesting concept. Closing-o-rama!!!!!!
