New Signing Agent

I am a new signing agent in Santa Clara County (San Jose Area of Northern California) . What is a reasonable fee to charge a signing company who is giving me business?

Deborah
It depends on how far away the signing is, if edocs are involved etc.

Haven't you noticed...

They NEVER read before they post! I think that message needs to be BIGGER!!

It's too bad that the twenty most asked questions can't come up with the 'There is a problem with your post' message.

To Deborah...

Sylvia is right, it depends on how far the signing is from you, but SA's universally agree (except for anon above) that even if the signing is next door to you, do not go below $75-$85 for docs sent to you... of course adding $25-$35 more if it is E-doc. Signings that are farther away, have increased fees based on mileage.

Are you certified? Did you take classes or courses and if so, didn't they give you any direction with this?

Use the orange search button and do a search for 'fees' and you'll get a whole bunch of Q&A that comes up. If you're a newbie, doing searches can give you almost any answer you are looking for, if you are willing to look for it.
