Not as many posts lately

Started coming on notrot more regularly back maybe just after the first of the year. Doesn't seem like as many posts lately. Is this good news, does this mean business has picked up for many notaries and they are too busy to post very often?

IMHO....the old timers (don't mean necessarily OLD, but seasoned) have had quite enough of the 'newbies' and derelict, delinquent's shennanigans. It is rather tedious and boring to go to a board that was once frequented by the intellectuals of the business only to find that it has been taken over by a group of whiners and troublemakers. (present company excepted) If you go back to this date a year ago, I'll bet there were more interesting posts from more interesting people than there are today. Sad but true......Thank heavens for Brenda_TX, PAW,
TITlegal, CHARM, CALINOTARY and the others of their stature that make coming back an occasional treat. It takes so much time to weed out and climb over the trash that sometimes it seems to be not worth the time. (you might notice that I didn't mention his HUGHNESS as he has taken leave of the nonsense here...and quite rightly so)

When I don't post, it means I'm getting tired of the same old same old. How many different ways can I answer "Hi, I'm new. How should I get started?" I get tired of the laziness, tired of the whining when they don't get everything gift wrapped, tired of the attitude. It amazes me that people who are looking for help get so mouthy. They wouldn't last a week at an office job with that attitude and they won't last six months as a self employed individual with no initiative whatsoever.

I've mentored several people. I received an e-mail from one of them today stating she's coming to town and wants to meet me. I remember the first e-mail I ever received from her. It had eight attachments. She wanted to show me all the work she had done to prepare herself. Business plan, signing service list, forums, places to list her services. By the time she was ready to ask questions, they were intelligent and well thought out. She made me want to help her. What happened to these kind of people?

Lulu,
I get tired of everytime someone doesn't answer the newbies they are bashing them and being rude. It really gets old reading the same crap all the time.
Once again we need a "Newbie" page for posters.
