Grew up in northwest Florida, which some consider to be part of south Alabama. :o) Dad was born to share-cropper parents in north "Loo-sianna," so I've got plenty of Dixie. But mom is from northwest Nebraska, and I've lived in California long enough that I've lost some of my southernisms. Fun to observe the vast cultural differences that exist within the different regions of our country.
