Our cell phones, our life lines.
I went riding this morning and lost my cell phone. I had been riding for about 2 hours before I noticed it was missing. I tried to backtract but my horse was tired and hot so I gave up. I got back to the house and called cingular and decided to transfer my calls to my hubbys phone. Big mistake. As soon as hubby starting getting my calls, he turned off his phone. Yeah I guess I didn't think of his job. Anyways, a good samaritan found my phone, called "home" and I got my phone back. 17 missed calls, 6 signings filled by someone else.
What I learned by this? Keep your cell secured, and they're still alot of good people in this world!

Re: unintentional name change
I've had the same thing on several occasions...but it reverts back to my maiden name to boot...Now, I always check before hitting "Post".

Re: unintentional name change
It happens to me a lot. Usually because I accidently roll the mouse a click while the focus is on the author box.

I love the story! What signing companies are you working with? I'm in South Carolina and a little new to this kind of work. I'm currently doing signings for At Home Signing, Inc. Do you have companies you recommend? Feel free to e-mail [e-mail address]. What would we do without good samaritians?
