POA for chase helocs

Hello, has anyone done a chase heloc closing in which a POA was needed? I rec'd a new order tonight for a closing needed to be done tomorrow and no instructions were included on how they would like it to be signed, no one is available. Do you know if they would accept Jane Smith by John Smith, her attorney in fact. Initials: JS by JS, AIF? Also, I'm in CA.

Thank you!

A lot of times, hidden in the many pages of instructions, there will be instructions on how they want a POA signed. The last several I've done have gone this way.

If John Smith is signing for Jane Smith the title companies have been telling me to have it signed:

Jane Smith by John Smith, as AIF

I have done these exactly as you indicated without any problems.
