Platinum Escrow in WA
I've worked for them several times and never with a payment problem. However, at this time I have an outstanding invoice from March that is getting NO attention whatsoever. I have called a few times, and always forced to leave messages. I've re-faxed my invoice a few times, and no response. They usually pay 2-3 weeks MAX from the date of the signing, so I consider this very unusual behavior on their part. Something must be going on... ... and yes, there were issues at the table in that the loan was not what the client thought he was getting. He signed anyway, and was told that his balloon 2nd note would be "converted to a HELOC" next month. I found out that the Escrow Officer on the file no longer works there. I have no idea what happened to the loan after I sent the docs back.
Is anyone else experiencing problems with payment from them? Any tips on dealing with Platinum in particular, or do I really need to get serious with collection letters? I really hate turning to those letters after having such a good relationship up to now, particularly with a Title Co. with an otherwise good reputation. Thanks.

Hi.. thought I'd offer my 2 cents worth.
Decent pay, no babysitting, although.... Here it is:
I had to go to the borrowers three times (third time is the charm, I suppose)
Each time I went, they did not have ANY of the amounts correct in any document. Each time they corrected incorrectly, but eventually they did get it right.
They increased my rate for each time I went out as if I completed the signing, and quickly paid for two of the attempts.. the third attempt took some persuading to get the check, but I got it today.
I'd work for them again.
