Premier membership advantage

I got a call to notarize some docs for an out of state sale last night. It was a quick 15 minutes job. I asked the seller how he found me and it was here on NotRot. He mentioned that he'd called a other notaries who would charge less, but then he saw me listed as a premier member and that b/c he wanted the docs done right.


Just another aspect of being a premier member.

LOL...well that was luck on your side.

All because some members are not premier members, does NOT make them less of a cnsa/notary or that they are less experience or that they dont do the job done right. As much as i would like to be a premier member, right now it is a funding issue for me. It is not considered "priority" and I do get enough calls from SS/TC's from here without being a premier member. (hope that made sense).

I do want to be a premier member, but not for that reason (Only). I know the advantages...but when there are PRIORITIES set ahead that comes first in my own book. Does not make me a better or worse notary, nor does it make you better then I cuz you are a premier member.

If I sound defensive, cuz maybe I just felt in a way I was "offended" with the thought that you may be better then I cuz you are a prem. member and I'm not. I think it was a good suggestion for many, but it is not a mandatory thing here. To me...it was a compliment to those who are premier members while in a sense it was an slap on the wrist or slap in the face to non-premier members.

Sorry...its just my thought. Sorry if i offended you or anyone, but its how I felt when i read that statement.
