SS breaching their own contracts...
maybe instead of signing contracts with SS that they need to be signing our (own) contracts...and have them meet our stipulations, after all, for the most part, we are not in breach of contract lke the SS 's are???? Have you noticed how many SS's actually breaching their own contracts??
I don't sign contracts anymore cuz of that...I stopped a long time ago. I refuse to sign it. I might loose work from it...but hey, "if you can't respect my reasons, then may be you are hiding something?" am I wrong to think or feel this way? or does it sound to crazy? So far every contract I've signed in the past...that SS has breached their own contract. every one of them. Any one else had this problem (in the past)?

I don't sign them either, Dee. The contracts I have signed in the past and recently seen were not mutually beneficial contracts, pretty much one-sided IMO. And yes, I agree, it has been my experience that they are breached by the SS more often than not, just with their pay schedule if nothing else.
"We may not pay fairly or on time, but don't you dare accept an appt. from a TC we deal with!"

Re: SS breaching their own contracts...It has been my
experience when SS needs you for an area difficult to cover the idea of a contract goes right out the window. They need you for the signing and that is it......
