ServiceLink

Did they go out of business? I only do a closing for them here and there, but I have not been paid for closings from March & early April. I have tried calling with no answer or voice mail or automated system. I have also tried faxing but I always get poor line condition and it won't go through....Did I miss something?

I have done closings for them before with out such a big delay in payment - seems like they just fell off the face of the earth.

If anyone could clue me in, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

ServiceLink deserves to go out of business, hopefully they will pay those who they owe money too. I used to get jobs from them but they stopped calling me over my protesting all the fax-backs they were requiring and my refusal to lower my fee.

You must invoice them on their invoice form. They sent you one when you signed up with them. Invoices are to go out at the end of the month and must be sent by mail. If you don't have or didn't make a copy of their invoice keep trying to call them.If you can't get them email me on my link and I'll get one to you.

Since you have worked for them before I'm sure you know you have to mail in a Service Link invoice at the end of each month listing your closings and then they pay in about 10 days. I just bring this up in case you are not aware.

They will not pay on a faxed invoice. It has to be mailed in. I did many closings for them last month, and it was the first time in over a year they met my fee on every one, and I'm way over their standard fee. Then on May 1st, they kept calling but said they tightened up on fees again, and couldn't pay me my standard fee. Quit calling me the middle of last week. I did ask the girl on the phone what type of notaries they get for their fee, and was told not very many good ones.

Mail it in again, and attach one of your invoices to it with 2nd or 3rd Request and Past Due on it. I'm still waiting on my April payment from NationalLink, their sister company.

Thanks for the info. I just think it is so weird that I can't get anywhere with the phone numbers I have for them. I thought I would fax off a letter stating I can't get ahold of anyone or even voice mail, but that isn't working either. Bummer.

Re: ServiceLink = ServiceStink

Real nice schedulers, but the fax-back thing is ridiculous -- it's practically the entire package. When I first started working for them about 4-5 years ago, they paid great for those little Washington Mutuals. I never cared for the monthly invoicing either but I know many that prefer that way to bill.

Re: ServiceLink = ServiceStink..not really

I don't do closings for them but I do title searches for them. They are great in that department. Always pay the fee and on time.

Re: ServiceLink = ServiceStink

When I received the confirmation and closing instructions I called back my contact and advised him I needed to adjust my fee because of the fax backs and he did. I enjoy working for them always pay on time.
