Signatures Plus, Beware

Spoke to Allison at Signatures Plus on the 19th of April(45 days late, but ok). She indicated to me the two invoices outstanding would be paid on the 4th of May. Today is the 9th, no pay yet.
Spoke to her again today, she said they are having cash flow issues.

I have to admit, they will pay you. It only takes about 100 invoices, 100 phone calls and months of waiting. If you do a closing for them this year, you may get a check in time for Christmas 2008.

I tried everything to get paid from them and the only thing that worked was to fax them about 500 invoices over a couple of days. They finally got the picture and sent me my check. the big question is will it bounce.

Purportedly from a former SOX employee, that SOX is ceasing operations as of July 1. It has been frequently mentioned on the boards that Signatures Plus is a sister operation of SOX, so you can logically figure that they'll go down together - and none too soon! Hope it's true!

Awhile back I posted about a notary freind that was going to turn them into the WI Attorney General. She also called Countrywide. She got paid last week for signings done last fall.

They have been really good about paying me on time. There was only once that I had to call them several times to inquire about payment. And that was about a three months ago and they sent my check out within a couple of days.
