did a signing for First Choice on Feb 19 '06. I called after 4 weeks had passed to inquire about my fee. I was told the payment would be sent in 2 more weeks. I called again after six weeks and I was told the check was probably lost and they would write out another check. I was not paid for this signing until the 1st week in May. Not only that, but I made two trips to the borrower's home because I was sent the wrong email for the 2nd set of docs. I was told that I would be paid for the 2nd trip - I was not. I worked for these guys against my better judgment - that won't happen again.

I had the same problem with lost check from this company twice last year. Believe it or not, I received both checks a month or so after the postmark on the letter. I did one earlier this year and was paid in 4 weeks.

Was it First Choice out of Charlotte? I haven't had a problem with them - signing 3/29 was paid 4/07 and one on 4/20 was paid 5/12.

They would be top notch in my book if they improved in the payment area. Otherwise, thats right. They meet my fee and simply say: "Handle it". No babysitting. They say they pay in 45 days which is already outrageous. Its usually 50, 60, even 70 days. !@&@&##%$$@@$$#$@%%$%@^%%@%#@!^!!!!!!!!!!

Ditto. This was my one and only siging with them on 4/11/06. I have them on my list of service I will not sign for anymore.
