Stewart Mortgage, E-Title and DeepGreen Financial

I received an order to do a signing for them on April 26 for May 13. I've never had one schedule this far in advance. The confirmation lists all sorts of guidelines and you get penalized $25 for each adverse occurrence.

One item said to contact the borrower 72 hours prior to the signing - so I left three messages for him yesterday. No return calls. I didn't want to get hit for $25 so I called E-Title this morning to let them know I was not able to confirm with the borrower.

Guess what? The signing was canceled. Wouldn't it be fun to send them an invoice for $25 for not confirming with the notary 72 hours prior??

OMG!!! Right after I posted this - like 2 seconds ago - they sent me a cancellation notice with a FEE. I'm am truly impressed that they are actually going to pay me a cancellation fee.

Put them at the top of my - WOW - I want to work for them again list!!!!
Unless of course I am reading the cancellation notice wrong and they are charging me for the canceled loan...

Sam, I have done several for these folks and they are really wonderful. Pay is fast, docs are super and it takes about 20 minutes tops. I wish they had more business in my area! You'll love these folks, they are absolutely the best!

what is their payment schedule? I did one for E-Title on 04-19-06 and haven't been paid yet. TIA
