They should all be like this
7 p.m. appointment. I walk in the door and borrower says "since I'm making you work late, I fixed you dinner. Your plate of spaghetti is already on the table." MMM MMM MMM.
I think this should be a law. Any appointments after 6 p.m., borrower must feed the notary. Write your congressman.

mmmm... food... good...
I did a signing a few weeks ago for an itialian lady in her late 60's. She had been cooking all day long and sent me home with containers of homemade meatballs, baked ziti, and two freezer bags of fresh homemade pasta....
I put the fresh pasta in the freezer and everytime we take some out to make it, I send the lady another thank you letter... I also told her that anything she needs notarized will be at no charge.... I guess I need to get a sign... NOTARY WILL WORK FOR FOOD. lol.

No one ever offers me food, just liquor, LOL
While the signing is taking place. Of course I decline, but I wonder why I get all the offers for booze and not food!

They ALL think I'm a lush, too! Read on...
It must be a Florida thing... the liquor, that is. I've been sent home with ziplock freezer bags FILLED with jello shots, and get offers of booze at nearly every signing. I've even been offered a "joint" twice! FYI, I don't drink or smoke. The jello shots I couldn't turn down, tho... I was having company and they loved 'em! Last week a lady gave me an GORGEOUS sterling necklace and matching bracelet. She wholesales them on eBay, and commented that the silver would look amazing on my skin tone (Italian, olive skin). Sweet! And today, I got a call from a woman that I signed two months ago. It seems she wants "rid" of the magnificent antique piano I admired at her home, and wanted to give me dibs. God, I love this job

KS_King...O/T re: ponds
Please email me so we can talk ponds! I have a 165 gallon pond with four Koi, four Orandas, two suckers and one lone comet. (his brother died while we were on vacation. We think it was a Racoon) I'm fighting some kind of fungus right now that appeared when we got back from vacation.
This is my first pond and I'm having a great time learning how to take care of it. I so enjoy watching my fish and relaxing while I listen to the waterfall.

Mostly I get asked if I would like water or coffee. I did a piggyback for a really NICE couple that are Hell's Angels. They gave me their 2-year-old male Cockatiel. His name is Morty and he loves to dance to "Born to Be Wild"!
