Another problem with UPS is, if the company you are sending to doesn't give you the full address, UPS will charge you for the "address lookup" to the TUNE of $10.00. It has happened several times. Not to mention all the hassle with the UPS website.

I don't just put the receiving companies name on the label for UPS. I request first, from the companies that we use, to give a FEDEX account number. I prefer to just bypass the hassle from UPS, and try to solely use FedEx. They are consistently faster at shipping and receiving, and are cheaper in the long run, for us. Probably just a local problem, but our experience with UPS is that many times our packages don't get there in time, and they don't deliver here on time.

We have had "first overnight" packages from UPS that have not come until after 6pm. Some of our packages have not been picked up at all, and once we waited all day...only for a package to be delivered by our neighbor (UPS man) after close of business...it should have been delivered for overnight in the AM.

I have spoken with UPS several times, on the phone and locally. Seems to be a consistent problem around here. Rather than hassle, we have chosen to override the problem and stick with FedEx. We could set our watches by FedEx deliveries. JMHO.

What can BROWN do for you? Charge too much, and deliver late!!!
