going to botch the job because of .elx document

I'm a pretty smart person and I have YET to convert it to a pdf file. It keeps printing directly to printer and I don't have adobe professional loaded on the machine...

Do you print it to a an adobe file or is there some other magical secret? I'm completely stumped.

You need an elynx reader. Check PAWs site or TampaBayClosers.com for the reader download.

It's a print utility that's going straight to my printer. It doesn't open the document.

I use elynx all day long and I always convert them to .pdf before sending them off to my notaries, as well as adding extra copies of the RTC(for some reason lender will send with only one copy and ask that we leave two with each borrower) The only way I've done it is to print them from elynx then rescan them to .PDF I hope that helps, if you do not have a scanner I'm not sure what you can do. I change to .PDF because I send them off to my notaries, If you are doing the closing yourself, why not just have them print? Do you need it in .PDF?

Do you have a newsreader on your comp? Go to Usenet and go to the alt.binaries.cd.image or alt.binaries.warez and get Adobe Pro.

If I get one that wants to go straight to printer I just load my legal paper tray into my default tray and let it go.

I was having the problems because you have to unistall the software and reinstall it for certain lenders. The tech support at Elynx gave me a new copy of SmartVue to use. What a pain it was. Glad it was sorted and I was finally able to print.

Thanks everyone for your support and Help!

Joshua, Why

do you convert to pdf? I would always rather get the docs as .elx files as they print MUCH faster. Just my preference.

Re: Joshua, Why

I have found that for most of my notaries it is easier for them to print a .pdf almost every computer as an adobe reader......

also like I stated the lender sends over these docs with only 1 RTC in the package so I like to scan in extra copies....
