I'm making a new (to me) dish of chicken enchiladas...
does anyone know if green chili Ench sauce is hot? I got youngin's that I don't want to set on fire here.

It should not be hot IMHO. However, even mild green chilies can taste hot to a baby.

Oh...you better test for Calipat, C...I am not a green enchilolly maker...but I am pretty darn good at the red ones. I know this is crazy, but here, Taco Cabana makes 'em pretty darn good.

Hey Charm, First of all I hope everything is okay with you.
As for the green chili sauce it is not hot. I am hispanic and for some reason I do not do hot or spicy. Green chili has a different taste took me years to try because of the "chili" word I never wanted to try it. ....but it is not spicy or hot. So are you making "enchiladas suizas"?

My 2 y/o loves spicy..

You will be surprised, some kids love spicy. My daughter can't get enough of the taco bell spicy taco's and she loves hot salsa on her eggs.

It is weird..I personally can't do spicy, (past ulcers).
