I know this is a strange thing to ask about, but I am typing the awards and certificates for my childrens school. I need some info from the manual. Can anyone help me with this crazy request?
Thanks in advance

I may pull my hair out before this is finished! I just need the operators manual. There is a "code" button and an "alt" button. I'm not sure what all these mean. I went from the old electric typewriters in high school, to using the wordprocessors on the computer....I've never use a word processor on a typewriter. UGGG!

Re: BROTHER AX500 Sorry I forgot to put that in!
check your key board. There may be some keys with two letters/symbols on them, usually one is colored green or blue. The ALT and CODE key is meant to be used to toggle between the different symbols. Or enable certain functions. A lot like the ALT and CONTROL key on the computer.
