11th Hour Signings
Just to let you know. 11th Hour Signings has been on record for perfect payment for two years. I think people seem to forget that. There have been a lot of bad posts lately when they paid you on time and had a perfect track record for payment for two year! Where is the loyalty? Paige has gone out of her way to explain to each notary that they were going through their first growing pain. Not every signing company owner would do that. They had their first growing pain with accounting because of a title company bouncing a large amount of checks to them which affected their account. Something, completely out of their control. At this time, their bookkeeper had just been let go and they were in the middle of transitioning to a big accounting firm so they were pulling their hair out to maintain their sanity and to try to maintain their client relations/notary relations while dealing with a stressful and messy situation. Luckily, the owner's father is a well-known real estate attorney who helped to get the money back from the title company. They made it through their first growing pain. God knows we all aren't perfect. I think we are so quick to harp on a signing company the minute they make a mistake but we have no idea what they go through. Paige told me that she has had two notaries show up drunk to a signing, another notary that didn't return docs and was AWOL. She checked the hospitals because she was truly concerned but lost a huge account over this. Paige also had one notary that was a loan officer try to take a few loans here and there and the broker found out and sued the notary. That notary threatened to post bad things to Paige because he was completely ignorant and pompous. Paige has had countless notaries show up 4 to 5 hours late without calling her. It is stressful for signing companies. These are probably the notaries that will make bad posts because Paige is having to hold notaries accountable for these things so that these incidents stop happening. When she holds someone accountable for showing up 5 hours late like it was nothing, they threaten to post something bad on the boards. Or when a notary forgets to print the second and refuses to go back to get it signed because they have a bad attitude. You would be amazed with the amount of signings what 11th Hour has to go through and why they have to contstantly implement new policy. People, take everything with a "grain of salt" that you read. Signing companies work on average of 3-7 hours on a file. Signing Companies don't get paid at all when they still pay their notary. It is very stressful. Paige always goes to bat for her notaries. She will give them the benefit of doubt when a loan officer is trying to blame them for something that they didn't do. She will spend time proving that the notary didn't make the mistake because she cares about her notaries. Take everything with a "grain of salt" This message board is becoming like a tabloid. LOL! Happy Turkey Day. I won't be back. Too much work to do and no time for gossip, unfortunately!

Credit where credit is due... I had a recent signing with
them and I was very happy with them... They paid well, no hand holding, and paid within 30 days... Would have no problem accepting another assignment from them...

Sorry, but....
So would a lot of other people like to work for her company. I believe Paige is fairly picky about who she hires (or tries to be) and I don't think she would want to be bombarded with notaries trying to sign up with her. Sorry, but that just the way it works some times.
I concur with the original poster - although I can't speak to what it takes to run a ss. I've always thought of Paige as one of the good guys. I, too, received one of the bounced checks that happened right after the title company sent her their bad check (as I have previously posted). I was pleased with the response I received and as I said then, I would work for her again.
