Anyone get this email ??

Good Morning,

Guardian Loan Company no longer pays for the following which you are requesting;

Printing of docs
Cancellation Fees
Trip Fees
Refusal Fees
Rescinded Fees

If the loan does not fund there are no payments made on loan.

Thank you

Well, at least they said "Thank you." lol

In other words they don't need a notary? Or just one that would have an interest in the outcome of the documents and a big e&O?

I didn't get an email but

I did have one service tell me I needed to work on my salesmanship in order to get the customer to sign. LOL, that's not what I'm there for.

You're right that isn't why you, or any of us for that matter, are there for. They have to teach their agents how to sell.

And tell the truth about the terms of their loan. This borrower was completely shocked when I got there.

Yea! Like you're a LO ! Plus you should be getting the same paycheck they are. lol A few grand a pop really sounds good to me.

I came to the conclusion a long time ago that as long as the NNA cranks out notaries like"cheap socks" and notaries keep taking the lowball fees we are going to have nothing but trouble. Is it any wonder why these people have no respect for our Profession, or us as individuals. I conduct myself as a professional and go that extra mile. In return I expect to be treated the same way. I thank God everyday for all the wonderful people that I do work for, they will never know how much they are appreciated. Big Smile

Yes, sure looks like they should just have an ad on their web site reading "Notaries ! Work for Free." lol But there again we have an abundance of $45-$50 notaries out there. Who in fact are working for free-free. Personally I work for my pay , you know pay the bills , buy supplies , carry $200k in E&O,...etc. LOL I would suppose there are people out there that will agree to Guardian's terms. Sadly , this notary told them to remove my info. from their database. When you do your job-you get paid for doing so. That's my bottom-line! Wink

Re: Is this a joke?!

I am reading this as you get what you can charge for your state notary fee schedule. In Wisconsin, if you had 6 notarizations, you would make $3.00. Then if it doesnt fund, you get nothing!!

No it's not a joke (a real email I recieved this morning!) just thought I would cut & paste it to new message , just so you could have a chuckle. I was laughing as I read it. What are these people thinking ??? "We need to cut-back. Oh! let's slam the notaries."

Re:Teddy I say thank you to them for letting us know

in advance, this way we can cross them off our list, place them in the NO NO FILE, this actually makes life easier. A company I would not want to work for.....
