Attention New Notaries: Signing Companies' "No" List

Please see Message Number 79094 for a List of "No" companies
(enter 79094 in the Orange Search tab at the top of the page).
This list was compiled November, 2005.
To do further research, You can enter each company's name individually,
or use "no pay", "slow pay", etc. . .

You can also compose a list of your own.
For the "A" companies enter "Quick pay", "Fast pay" etc. . .

Hope this helps!

Pam

Pamela your list is so out of date!

Message 79094 is old. It is a year old. Further? It is the only "no no" list of ONE NOTARY! Not a concensus of notaries...just one. Are you propping a single notary here that you admire?

Posts like this don't serve the community.

When you can compile an up-to-date list, that all the community here on NR agree? You'll be a hero.

Otherwise, this is old and dated information - and not worth reviewing.

"Posts like this don't serve the community"

And why not?

Of course it is an old list (November, 2005), but many of the companies
are still active (and are still currently on the "No" list, on other
notary forums). Also it gives someone new a place to start.

That is why I suggested that each company's name be entered
into the search button, so that more recent comments (if any)
can be reviewed.

I also stated that a person should compiled there own list
of both positive and negative companies.

"Are you propping a single notary here that you admire?"

In November, 2005, I had not heard of Notary Rotary nor anyone else
on this board for that matter.

My point, exactly. Plus, "other notary forums" don't matter, to me at least.

Most of the companies you mention are now defunct, due to the down turn in SS business, and the industry.

Pamela - all "no no" lists should be kept by the individual notary, all the while keeping up with posts on boards and current events. A list that is a year old, in this market, doesn't serve the community.

By re-posting something that is 12 months old (in this market) isn't helpful. I know that the notaries I deal with daily have their own lists and don't depend on someone elses list that is out dated.

It's just the truth Pam. For someone starting out (at this late date) it might be beneficial, but for most, it old news.

"I also stated that a person should compile there own list

In the first post to you, I made a spelling error. I corrected it in
the second post, that "there" should be corrected to "their".

So, what's up with the Mergatroid reply?

Anyway, it's late. . .Have a GoodNite (what's left of it)

That's "Murgatroid," thank you very much.

If you thought "Heavens to Murgatroid" was a saying of Quick Draw McGraw (http://www.toontracker.com/huck/quickdraw.htm) you were close...it was Snagglepuss...more below.

http://members.aol.com/PaulEC2/Snagglepuss.html

The character of Snagglepuss originally appeared in 1959 as a minor character on episodes of Quick Draw McGraw, Augie Doggie, and Snooper & Blabber (this episode introduced Snagglepuss's nemesis the master hunter Major Minor). The character proved to have such appeal that he was given his own segment on The Yogi Bear Show when it premiered in 1961. Snagglepuss's favorite sayings were "Exit stage left" and "Heavens to Murgatroid."
