BGC - new idea. Opinions, pls. Harry? Anyone?
If I were a TC or lender, I wouldn't trust a bgc report sent to me by the individual I was cking.
Could easily be forged.
But I would trust a bgc report sent directly from NotRot.
Idea:
We pay Harry to do bgc on us + give Harry permission to release.
TCs and Lenders pay Harry to get a copy of the report. Let's help Harry get a buck. He sure has been great 2 us.
Let's make Harry the go-to guy 4 bkgrnd reports not NNA.
I would want to specify that no SSs may have a copy of my report. Only TCs and lenders.
I signed up @ OptOutPrescreen.com so no one could look at my credit reprt w/out my permission. I would want same control over my bgc info.
Is this workable?

Pls show me where on the bcg pg how the report is going to be released.
I read Harry's pg but I can't find the info on that. Maybe I missed it.
Will NotRot issue reports to us then we fax to TCs etc?
Will NotRot be the issuer to the TCs etc?

I don't think the TC would need a copy of the background check (and certainly wouldn't accept one from the individual, for the same reason colleges only accept transcripts directly for the school that issued them). All they need to know is a) if the requirements in the background check meets their needs, and b) whether or not you passed. That can be done with a centralized database listing the names of those who passed - without details of the results - similar to what the NNA has done.

Report w/ no details sounds great.
As a victim of ID theft twice, I am just very wary of who knows what about me.
I still would love a find a way to get the TCs etc to pay Harry something. May not be workable.
