Being Ripped Off
Has anyone had a problem with a group that say they are American Notary Network? I did a signing for Central Escrow Inc., in Jun 06. I guess they obtained my info from American Notary Network, (Avi Lavito). I have yet to be paid. I have contacted BBB and other agencies about this matter. Received a call from a person that ID'ed himself as Jeff and said he was the owner of American Notary Network, and had no by that name employed with him. Has any one out there heard of this Avi Lavito? If so plesase send me any information you can.
It is bad enough to get ripped off by some loan/mortgage agency, but by a fellow Notary is the PITS.

To All Certified Signing Agents & Notaries:
Stay away from Signing on the Dot or better known as Sox Signings. They do not pay. Another one is Express Mobile Closers, Inc. their telephone number has been disconnected and they don't pay.
When is accept a signing, make sure that whoever has contacted you gives to their complete mailing addresses and telephone numbers. Also make sure that your not completing a "double signing" without knowing first. Your fee should be 50% higher then your regular fee.
