good price. I have checked on the brother site and cannot figure out wether this is a PCL6 compliant printer. I actually only need the copy / fax / scan functions as I have a good printer and backup but wouldn't want to buy a printer that wasn't PCL6 machine.

found the brochure button on the brother site but the brochure is for the 7420 and 7820 models. It looks to me like the 7820 is PCL6 but the 7420 is NOT. Only a three day sale on this deal, guess I'll have to try to find out by phone tomorrow if the 7420 is PCL6. If anyone out there knows for sure if the 7420 is or is not PCL6 please post or e-mail, thanks Larry

3 day sale 14-30 day return policy... Office Max should be pretty easy about returns, especially if you don't even open it... then you can research to your heart's content.

Get extended warranty

Officemax takes them back almost no questions asked. Though a refurb. will likely give you a new one if yours breaks. The two year extends the 1 year warranty so usually you are covered for 3 years. Price with rebate likely cheaper than a replacment drum. Buy the darn thing and pitch it after 20,000 pages if you have too.
