Countrywide
Does anyone charge a premium for a Countrywide loan?
After a couple of really bad experiences w/CWs (four or five different forms of the same document, notarizations that are not found in any of my other packets, etc.) I finally started asking who the lender is when I am called about an assignment. If it's CW, I charge a $25 premium. I have had CW loans that went well over two hours (most loans take a much longer time to sign in Texas, but CW is the worst).
I'd be interested to know if anyone else has addressed this issue in their signings.

Yes, I, too, have been asking whther it is a Countrywide Full Spectrum signing.
The hand-holding and fax back requirements necessitate an additional fee.

My experience is that not all Countrywide loans are the same. Some fairly normal packages others (Full Spectrum) seem pretty much larger and more notarizations. I do not charge extra for these but do think when told that it's a Countrywide that I will be putting more into this signing.

I charge more for CW Full Spectrum loans due to the extra time required at the closing and their lame faxback requirements.

The $25 premium I charge is just for the aggravation of a CW loan. If there are faxback requirements, I charge $3 per page to fax. So far, when I have told the TC or SS upon receipt of the confirmation that discloses the faxback requirement what it costs them to get the faxbacks, the faxbacks usually become unnecessary.

They've been flexible with me about the faxbacks
If it's a second home or purchase I'll still send the faxbacks, but on any loan with a three day RTC, explain to them that if you've got to go home after the rest of your signings and fax back documents, it could force you to miss the FedEx pick up for that day. They'd prefer to have docs right away, so at least in my case, they've allowed me to bypass the faxbacks.

Re: They've been flexible with me about the faxbacks
I never fax anything to CW. All I 've done for them are refis. I also bypass the first 26 pgs of closer instructions.

Funny how they are so necessary but can be easily waived. If faxbacks are mentioned at time of acceptance they get my per page charge up front but if they fail to mention it before I accept I usually call them back after signing is complete and inform them of my per page charge. Only one time did someone say yes to the faxback fee. I told them that before I could do the faxbacks I required a written confirmation showing the fee. She put me on hold and came back a few minutes later and said to just drop the docs.

Yeah, I charge extra too. But to be truthful, unless I charged an extra 250$ -- they're STILL to much work!

I charge a fee for CWFS splits and fax backs. I think CWFS - AZ is the worst CWFS office to deal with and I charge accordingly.

Last week I had a SS call with a CW loan and would only pay $85. Told me there would be faxbacks and a split package. Wanted me to accept the $85 because the borrowers are close by. I quoted my fee and they said no and I said thanks for calling. This was about 2 PM. Starting at 7PM that night CW called me 3 times leaving messages but by that time I was busy. The next day I called CW and it was the same loan and they did find someone else. Geez what a waist of time on the phone to save a few dollors.

I deal with lots of CW. Just so everyone know to charge accordingly, CW/FS pay $200 for non-fax/split pkg and $250 for fax/split.

I have had good experiences with CWFS
No fax backs, reasonably sized pkgs., no split pkgs., fair fee. This is only with the CW and CWFS in FL. The other branches should take a cue from FL branches: I don't turn down any CW or CWFS in my area because they are so easy!
