Me too. Before I accepted the signing, I looked them up here. I told Denise they didn't have a very good reputation on the boards. She said that they pay slow, but that they do pay and that I would not find one notary who had not been paid. I shouldn't have let myself get talked into it, but I did and it's my fault for not going with my instincts based on the posts here. But I digress, when I called on the 21st, I was told that my check was mailed on the 20th for a signing completed 9/14/06. I'll post back on this thread when it comes.

Wrong question

How much work will it take me to get paid?

Re: Wrong question

Nope - Winston Churchill did not say that. It is a "misquote" from a speech he made at his old school (Harrow) in 1941. He actually said:

"Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never--in nothing, great or small, large or petty--never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."

Re: Wrong question - Sylvia, et al...I printed that out and

put it on my fridge to remind me that I must not bow to the snacking urge.

Thanks for the inspirational lift.

Never give in!

I did a signing for Coast to Coast Notaries on July 26th 2006. I still havent gotten fully paid on it. I got a check for $50 on October 10th. They owe me another $25 and as of January 4th 2007 I still havent gotten the check promised.

Denise Kern in accounting said a check was cut in November, then later said I would need to talk to Joann, the owner, who is never there.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND SIGNING FOR THIS COMPANY.
