Don't you just love it...

when the confirmation has conflicting info on it? When you accept an assignment, you don't know what you're getting into. I'm referring to one I got yesterday. At the bottom it says "Documents to be returned to lender if 'yes' box is checked (yes box is checked). If 'no' box is checked, then send to following address." (On the 2nd page it says, this is where they want me to send the docs.)
Then it continues with "Documents to be returned same day if signing before 6 PM. FedEx acct number will be supplied upon receipt of fax-backs". The signing was before 6 PM and I faxed back pages and waited for them to call me back with approval but they never did. I'm still waiting. Continuing further down it says "By accepting this assignment if the loan is a 2nd or HELOC the max. fee is $75.00 incl. edocs." Luckily I told them to put my fee on the confirmation, which was more and which they did. Otherwise I would have been stuck with their fee. Isn't this amazing?

I think I know who you are talking about. I had one for yesterday as well but declined after doing my search confirmed. Even though its there I bet you IF you get paid it might not be what you think its going to be.

I had the same footnote she offered $125 off the top I knew it would be 2 sets when I told her if its more sets or over so many pages than what she stated my fee will change. She agreed but my confirmation stated 125.00 she promised I'll have the docs on 20th in 15 minutes called back and stated other wise.

Right there she noway I can trust that company before I did the search. the $75.00 + $50.00 for the 2nd = $125.00 I will never work for them.
