LOL It sounds like you're a typical user - loving and hating it at the same time. I've often thought about one, but much of my travel is on back country roads where there probably wouldn't be service anyway, so... At least that's how I keep talking myself out of the expense.
There's a great magazine available for Smart Phones and PDAs that I subscribe to and enjoy a lot. You might want to think about subscribing to it as it has a lot of information and tips that will help.

what I think is a pita is driving behind someone that isn't paying attention to the road and other drivers. Not saying anything to you personally Gary, you know I luv ya.
But my biggest pet peeve is watching some silly teenager hitting the shoulder and swerving back onto the lane, or the guy going 60 on a 70 mile an hour highway, not concentrating on the driving because they are talking on a cell phone. I wish it was illegal to be on the phone while driving, or putting your face on or reading a newspaper...it makes me want to scream. I have places to go and yes, if my cell rings I answer it and tell them in 20 seconds that I'll call back when I land.
