Is JMT still around?

They used to be a consistent source of signings for me, but I haven't heard from them in quite a while. Even though they did not pay the highest fees, they paid in a timely manner.

What experiences have other people had LATELY?

They are! During slow times I take their local itsy bitsy loans, takes me a whole 10 minutes to complete and they still pay right on time!

just got a call this morning....but

they wanted me to drive 25 miles 1 way for a $50 signing. Don't think so.

Re: just got a call this morning....but

That's their typical O/N doc fee, I only take the ones really close by, wouldn't do the 25 mi thing!

Did two for them last week.

Meshed with my other closings. They overnighted to the borrowers. Low but it was right on the way.

Yes.

I've done a couple lately. Even got overpaid!! Did the right thing & sent back extra $$ that was unearned.

Thanks, everyone who replied!

I guess it's time to fax or call to tell JMT that I'm still alive.

I wonder if they found somebody nearby who is willing to take lower fees....

I hadn't heard from them in a long time,

but just recently did a couple quickies for them. Maybe they haven't had anything in your area???

Yep! I do 5 or more for them every month. I only accept jobs w/in 15 miles on my starting point. For $50 I've traveled & dropped documents for return usually w/in an hour. The documents are O/N to the borrower - very well prepared - I've experienced very few errors in document preparation. I like handling them only because everyone is so professional, the packages are neat/organized, & minimal in size. Not many jobs paying $50 an hour.
