It's just one of those days!
Woke up this morning to no power!! Didn't come on until 9AM. Showered and put on make up in the dark with flashlight(amazing!) ... and NO blow dryer (agh!!!!) - towel dry hair and do best I can.
General Notary Appt scheduled for 9:30AM at my home office. Appt. called at 9:40 she was just leaving house - got lost and arrived at 10AM. It was a traffic test so she had to take the test in front of me then called the traffic school with all kinds of questions and what to do etc. I was planning to leave at 10:30 for an 11AM appt. 15 miles away. Didn't leave until 10:45AM - dash up the freeway only to get stuck between two CHP cars escorting a very large (taking up more than 2 lanes) piece of construction equipment being moved. Exited freeway, made left turn and immediate right turn accordning to directions, BUT....the right turn was the OFF RAMP of another freeway!!! OH S#&4! Backed up, moved on and turned right on next street (sigh - made it). By the way, I was there on time.  - and...it was at a Dr's office, and I have made an astute observation about "most" Dr's - none of them carry their Drivers license, it's always in their car - I just knew that was going to be the case - but, things look up - Dr. pulled out his wallet and gave me his DL. The day got more normal as it progressed.
Just another exciting day in the life of a mobile notary.
