It should have been signed yesterday.

Just got a call from a TC. Asked me if I'm available for a signing tonight. I said yes.
"OK, great! Here's is the situation - it should have been signed yesterday, and I'm hoping that you can fix it for us."
"Sure, no problem. I will correct the dates on RTC get it initialled by the borrowers"
"um... no, you didn't get me.. I was wondering that.."
"I DID get you. But this is the only fix I can do for you. I don't care how the signer dates the documents that don't need to be notarized, but..."
Well... he thanked me profoundly and went away to call the next one in the list.
The sad thing is I can bet he will find someone.

Then it won't be legal and someone, somewhere along the line will catch up with them. Chalk it up to at least you won't get into trouble and be put out of business.

I always ask them...

to put their request in writing on their letterhead, and I'll run it by my SOS. Never had one do that yet...
