Marketing Questions?

Having started this year, I still work with signing companies and do not market
to title companies (as of yet).

Question: When it comes to marketing to the title, escrow companies etc. . ., do
anyone ever market in person? Such as being a guest speaker at the various
companies' monthly/weekly office meetings etc. . .

Ever sponsored (or donated to) one of their social events (i.e. company
picnics, holiday parties. . .) or "in-house games" (such as donating a prize
or prizes for the monthly office raffle etc. . .)?

Ever bought breakfast or brunch/lunch for the office (not just donuts or cookies,
but foods such as sandwiches, pizzas, salads, etc. . .)?

Donated tee shirts, with your business name and information on it?

all good mrtkg ideas....I will visit and leave a flyer/brochure and card. If the company uses my services, I will remember them with little extras, like a holiday greeting or a nice pen to keep my name in front of them.
If I have a loyal call me first company, they recieve a crystal candy holder at Christmas. It doesn't pay to pay if you haven't been paid....Know what I mean?

Good point!

I will probably start marketing to them directly sometimes next year.
Just wanted to toss some ideas out there and receive feedback from
long-time, experienced agents, such as yourself.

Marketing Questions?

I went into our builders office last week and saw a nice basket with different types of chocolates and candy in fall like colors , ie: orange, yellow wrappers and with autumn accents.

Included was a business card with an autumn background that stated: "Fall into a mortgage with us, so and so". It looked nice.
