Re: Pacific Dox in San Diego - Update-Ray this would be

so much less stress on the notary if we could indeed all collect up front.
I sent a payment reminder to a company on Friday requesting a response within 24 hours, a second reminder went out today, no response as yet. Now I will say this is a company that I realized after I got home, then had time to research them, the last I did a signing for them and there have only been two works orders, I decided dang I didn't want to work for them again.

Re: Pacific Dox in San Diego - Update

They have called me twice in the last year (final call to request my services as late as last week)...however, I did not work for them because of this Message Board. First time, I searched them, saw the comments and called back and told them they were "all over the msg board as not paying notaries and that I did not need that aggravation"...later, someone else (other than Alyssa) called and asked where I saw that info and that they wanted to get it cleared up...then, last week they called again at 8:00pm for a closing at 9:00pm (Borrower lived w/in 5 miles of my house)....they said they had the docs and would send ASAP...they had called me the evening prior to do the same closing but I turned it down because it was late, I was tired and did not want to go out that late...consequently, this prompted the call the next evening because they used another notary and she only took one set of docs so the Borrower would not sign anything...I agreed to do the closing but when I received the docs (4 separate e-mails)...the total print job of 2 sets of docs was 382 pages (of which 42 pages were the disclosures from the LO)...I pitched a fit...she offered $10.00 for the extra printing...I was insulted by that comment and I told her that she needed to find another "lackey" to do this closing...that $135 from a company who does not have a good history for paying their notaries was not acceptable...and I further requested that they remove my name from their database and to never call my number again. Alyssa called me from 858-205-7225 if that is any help to anyone.

Re: Pacific Dox in San Diego - Update

I got a call from them on a friday evening over 2 months ago, there was an unbelievable amount of documents. The signing was a nightmare and after the 3rd error the clients told me to leave. I was told I would be paid for my services and almost 4 hours of being at the clients house. I have written them numerous times on November 30 was told I would be getting a check in a couple of weeks, still no payment. But will update when I do finally get it.
