Just called one of my favorite local LO to follow up on a loan signed couple weeks ago to find that BO recinded that one. LO asked that I invoice her so she can personally write me a check. I flat out told her to send me a cup of espresso instead b/c she'd been giving me lots of business plus inhouse referals. I also told her that no body win if a deal fail through. We work as a team, the opportunity for my services do not exist without her month long effort.

Great attitude Andy...and they rememeber these situations! It's the cost of doing business and we have to write off an occasional It comes back tenfold

That's great Andy when you do deal for 250.00 or more I dont care if a loan gets cancel. But I got a call Yesterday from a SS that was asking for a discount because the loan did not funded. I said NO! when you work for SS's they are getting more than 50 percent or more and we are working at a very limited profit with SS. So if the deal drops off why the little guy should eat the expense? And now many SS's are not giving more signings to notaries that have loans that get cancel, but we are impartial and if the loan does not fund is not our fault, now if the loan does not fund because of notary error that's another story.

I can guarantee you that not a single SS I work with get to keep more than 50% of the deal. they either are loyal or their client exclusively requested me for the signing.
