A beautiful letter that was given to me after my daughter
passed away two tears ago. Look For Me In The Rainbow
Now that I have laid my body down for its final rest, dont think of me as dead. I am freed from my body and am able to be with you in a greater and closer way.
When you see trees blowing in the wind, I will be there waving to you. When you feel a soft breeze on a warm summer day, I will be the breeze cooling you. When the sunlight warms your face, you will know that it is I touching you with warm love. I will come to you when birds sing and when animals do wonderful , funny things. When it rains, I will come in raindrops to cool you. I will fall with the snowflakes to beautify the earth. When thunder roars and lightening streaks across the sky, let the sound and fury remind you or the power and magnificence of God, with whom I have found rest.
Most of all, when you feel love and joy and peace you will know that I am with you. And the deeper within your own heart that you search for me, the closer I will be.
I have been released from my body to dwell in the hearts of God. Nothing seperates me from you now, for I am in God, and God is the love and joy and peace deep within you and in all the beauty and energy of the universe.
I am happier now than you can imagine. You too will know this happiness when you have put off your earthly body to be with me forever. It is like a raindrop finding its way back to the sea from, whence it came. Then time will no longer matter, and we will feel that we have never been apart.
If you need anything just ask- and you know that I will hear you. If you seek me I will be in your thuoghts. You will feel me in your emotions and see me in the world around you. You will know me in the people we loved and in the friends that we shared.
Do not think of me as dead, on the contrary, I am more alive than ever before. Death is not an end - it merely saw me through to the next step along the way. Life in the body is but a moment, a drop in the infinite ocean of time, a mere dream. When that moment is over for you, we will be together again in a special way. We will be one with God.
Think of me when you see Gods wonders; look for me in everything in which he has at hand. But especially look for me in the glory of the rainbow. Each time you gaze upon a rainbow's splendid color you will see me smile and know then that I am right beside you.

Re: Debbie, that was beautiful
thank you very much for your prayers and kind words. Debbie, if i may, i would like to share the letter with the family. Along with a poem, that i received via email, they are both perfect. the family is obviously grieving, and hopefully this will comfort them in a small way.
thank you so much. And please, all of you, remember to live for today, because you never know what tomorrow brings. Wear Fuschia, Pink, purple whatever makes you smile. Smell the flowers, wave to a stranger. Praise God for the sun, the rain, the wind, whatever. Remember to live life everyday, because as we all have been shown, life can be very short. Its what you do with it while you are here on earth that matters. Taylor packed alot into her short life of 6 years. And everyone who was touched by her smile, by her giggle and her dimples will be all the more blessed for it!!!
Live Life! always, Laura
