PA Settlement....

Services Inc. called last night for signing today. Property is located in MD. I was told that MD mortgages have something "goofy" (his words) after the ACK. Since I have not seen the mortgage yet I was wondering does anyone know what the "goofy" after the ACK is? Thanks so much!!!!

There are 2 acknowledegements on deeds of trusts in Maryland. One for the borrowers and one (called an affidavit of consideration) for lender/title. Just notarize the ack for the borrowers.
