PA Settlement Company

Has anyone had problems collecting from PA Settlement Company. I have an Invoice out 55 days now. Everytime I write or call I get the excuse that the President hasn't had time to pay the bills yet. When I asked if they were in financial trouble I wa told no. My next step will probably be going after lender.

Unfortunately yes. I had to call them several times to get paid (1 was almost 90 days old) In the past I never had a problem but now it seems like a lot of excuses. I will be leary to accept any more from them since this has happened too many times.

Settlement Company, Westbury, NY

Just to reduce any possible confusion, I want to say that the Settlement Company in Westbury, NY is a good company. Usually pays in less than two weeks.

It took me almost 4 months to collect from them. I got a frantic call from Kandi one day when I was on the road. She was begging me to do a last minute closing. She promised to pay me "right away" especially since I had to go to Kinkos to print. I had to call repeatedly....fax the invoice over at least ten times. She would not return any phone calls or answer any emails. I finaaly got fed up and kept calling them 15 to 20 times a day. The receptionist informed me that I was "tying up the phone lines". After several days of this Eric called me and said they were sending my check. Whew.......what a PITA. NEVER AGAIN.

Everytime I called I was told Kandi was the only person that could help me. After several calls and faxes I told the person that answered the phone that my next step was to contact the lender and then I finally received a return call from her and also my check arrived in a few days. Unacceptable.
