Professional Settlement Services (Back Date)
I got a call today from Professional Settlement Services asking me if I would back date a closing tomorrow for today's date. This is the second time I have received a call within the year from them asking me if I would do that? Of Course I said it would never be worth the money to lose my commission as a notary public. I chuckled because they avoided the term back dating and nowing fair well it was illegal. I wonder why they would do that when they also have the possibility of facing a lawsuit should that ever happen.
