Purchase fee

Help! they want me to do a purchase transaction in my local area with email docs. I am not certain what to charge because I know they can take a long time with many complications. Please give me an idea, a range of what fee to charge. Thank you!

Don't panic! Smile First ask what the circumstances are; will buyer/seller both be present, with realtors/attorneys in tow? Or, it could be a simple foreclosure where the buyer is signing a few docs and you're out in 15 minutes. It could also get weird with folks arguing over details they don't think are right on the HUD.

These are usually held in broker offices (or in the foreclosure example, often a bank). See what you're getting into first and charge accordingly.

If it's simple, I'd do $150; $200 and up the more complex it is.
